Logic updated to handle Report Definition with a join
Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.3
When using a multi-select element on the UI with a report definition as a data source where the report used a join to another class where it was referenced by a prefix, setting that data source property as prefix.property resulted in the multi-select no longer showing any results when tested on the UI although the report definition returned results when run manually. This was traced to platform differences revealed by an upgrade, and the idGenerator function has been updated to handle a report definition with a join to resolve this.

When including one section in another section with the page context as "Use clipboard page", the included section was not being correctly added to the pxRuleReferences page list when the embedded Page property of the section class was set as the using page. RUF pzValidateSectionIncludes has now been modified to consider the embedded Page property of the section class while adding the section in referencing rules.

Enhancement added to hide Pega Pulse delete icon/link

When using Pega Pulse for communication with a company's end users, it was possible for the end user to delete a message. This was not desired behavior in scenarios where the company wants full tracking of the interactions with the end users. To accommodate this, an enhancement has been added to allow the delete button to be hidden on the client user side based on 'when' conditions through use of the new rule 'pyCanDeleteReply'.

Pega Survey answer values support special characters

When using a Complex radio control (RadioButtonComplexQuestionSurvey), a selected option that used answer values containing special characters was cleared on refresh. This was traced to a mismatch between strAnswer and strValue in the control logic, and has been corrected.

Table layout filter popover position corrected for Pega mashup

When using an exposed harness with table layout using Pega web mash up, the mash up worked but the apply and cancel buttons were not visible when any column was clicked to filter the result. This was traced to the filter popup having a hardcoded position offset set in its div element, and has been resolved by delegating the responsibility of the filter popover height calculation to the popover.

Stories Word doc includes uploaded images

When trying to generate a Word document for the user stories by going to the Options menu and using the 'Document' option, there were images within the user story description that were not rendered in the Word document. Investigation showed that images would show up in the Word document if the images were dragged and dropped or copied and pasted into the description field instead of using the image uploader button. This was because the image was stored in a separate folder when the upload button was used and only a link to the attachment location was added to the description vs using copy/paste or drag and drop directly stored the attachment content in the description. An enhancement has been added to handle the upload use case so the images will appear in the Word document.

Added handling for Microsoft Internet Explorer double-submit on enter

When using the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser, List view was throwing an error on submission by pressing 'enter keyboard key' while working as expected when using the submit button. This was traced to an Microsoft Internet Explorer issue that fires the 'onunload' event twice if it is redirected from within the event handler, and has been resolved by applying a flag-based condition check while executing to prevent the second firing.

EJB Connector wizard fetches fully qualified class names for compile

When using a JNDI Server referencing remote EJBs, configuring Connect EJB through the wizard resulted in compilation errors. This was due to incorrect wrapper class generation, and the generation has been updated to use fully qualified class names.

Data types pagination limit removed from Application Wizard

When building a new FW application using the Application Wizard, the wizard only displayed the first 50 data types when there were more available. This was due to the source report definition used to obtain the list of Data types having a page limit of 50, and has been resolved by disabling pagination and setting "Maximum number of rows to retrieve" to "0" so all available data types will be retrieved at once.
