Hot Fix Manager updated to use installation order for schema import

Resolved in Pega Version 8.3.5

Schema changes were not being imported during the hot fix manager DL import process. Investigation showed this was due to hotfixes in the DL being iterated over from newest to oldest, causing older hotfixes to replace the value added to a map by the newer. To resolve this, the system has been updated to use hotfix install order, which considers selected and dependent hotfixes, rather than ordering newest to oldest. This ensures that newer table representations will override older rather than the other way around.

Code updated for multiple select inside a grid using Microsoft Internet Explorer 9

Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.8

Multiple select inside a grid was not allowing the section to be saved when using the Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 browser. This was due to a JavaScript incompatibility with Microsoft Internet Explorer 9, and the code has been updated.

SR-D76492 · Issue 549970

Added check for test case creation when Cross-site scripting security enabled

Resolved in Pega Version 8.4.2

Test case creation was failing. Investigation showed that when the "Cross-Site Request Forgery" security setting was enabled, the CSRF token and Browser fingerprint were not included in AJAX calls, and the Ruleinskey was not getting passed. This has been resolved by adding a check to evaluate whether security measures are included or not when making a server call from AJAX, and including the tokens required when appropriate.

DASS switch added for use with older Connect Rest passing encoded inputs

Resolved in Pega Version 8.4.2

As of Pega 8.2, an EmbedURL configuration in the REST connector was made available to provide flexibility to choose URL-encoding on an as-needed basis. In order to support connectors created prior to Pega 8.2, a configuration has been added to support usecases that pass encoded inputs to the connector execution. This is available by way of a connect/DisablePathDecoding DASS switch in the REST connector resource path parameters handling.

SR-124747 · Issue 186549

Added fallback keyinfo handling

Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.8

When a SAML assertion response is received in the authentication activity, an error indicated the KeyInfo was missing in the signature. This was caused by a lack of redundancy in the keyinfo handling that caused an exception when keyinfo was not included in the SAML response. Support has now been added to check the certificate in the truststore where the certificate from IDP metadata would have been imported, and there is an added null check in the debug logs.

Keystore certificate alias updated to support mixed case names

Resolved in Pega Version 8.3.5

The Java Keystore stored aliases only in lower case letters, but it accepted uppercase letters also during retrieval. This was causing the error "No certificate found in truststore : Azure AD SSOIDPCertStore with Alias : CN=Microsoft Azure Federated SSO Certificate" when the names didn't match. To resolve this, the keystore layer has been modified to support upper case letters in the certificate alias.

Handling added for last focused element in custom modal

Resolved in Pega Version 8.3.5

Using Shift-Tab can take the focus out of the modal window when using a custom modal template without the "X" icon in the header. The issue did not happen when using "tab" key press to traverse the modal. This was a missed use case for the last focused element being div and tabindex as 0 combined with using a custom template which doesn't have close button. This has been resolved.
