INC-189047 · Issue 674759

Session timeout adjusted for use with Apple Safari

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

A configured browser session logout timer was not working with the Apple Safari browser. This was traced to browser-specific handling for self.location.href and has been resolved by adjusting the logic and moving it inside a setTimeout to improve cross-browser compatibility.

pzIsScalar 'when' rule updated for Value list and Value group

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.2

When using the GET/Cases/{ID} API to fetch details about a case, an intermittent HTTP 500 error appeared. This was traced to the 'when' condition pzIsScalar being returned as true for the ValueList property types and trying to set the value on the summaryData embedded page. This has been resolved by updating the pzIsScalar 'when' rule to better handle Value list and Value group.

Calendar edit properly disabled when set to no text entry

Resolved in Pega Version 8.4

Clicking the input box of a date control used as Date+calendar popped up the calendar even when the calendar control was disabled and "Allow text entry" was set to No. If "Allow text entry" was set to yes, the entire calendar was disabled. To resolve this, the system has been updated to disable calendar control when 'Allow text entry' is selected to No in the presentation tab.

SR-D17987 · Issue 494485

Check added for backwards compatibility with Case Type when rules

Resolved in Pega Version 8.4

After upgrade, the When rules present on case type rules (used for skipping stages or showing/hiding stage-wide or case-wide actions) were not executing at run time. This was traced to the introduction of the pySkipOrAllowType property in recent versions, and was only reproducible when the ApplicationRuleset was locked and after upgrade irrespective of whether the condition for when was true or false. To resolve this and enhance backwards capability, a check has been added for the SkipOrAllowType property being empty.

SR-118081 · Issue 169902

Focus correctly set for dynamic select using accessibility

Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.7

When using a cascading dynamic select control configuration with the PegaWAI accessibility ruleset, setting the focus of the first DS list did not work when attempting to navigate the UI components via the keyboard. When reaching the first DS control, users could only select the next item in the list and then the focus switched to the second DS list immediately. The DynamicSelect control was missing a name attribute, and has been updated to address the focus issue.

SR-117674 · Issue 170571

Smart Shapes use properly limited to work class

Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.7

An error in the code made Smart Shapes visible when creating a data-class flow. Attempting to include them by dragging them into the flow design pane resulted in an "empty" utility shape that was missing many of the options normally offered. Because Smart Shapes are designed only for work classes, Smart Shapes will not be visible in shape menu when a flow is created in data class.

INC-189259 · Issue 674820

Big Decimal used while converting List to Page

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

Previous work done to handle precision numbers in the JSON response that were being rounded or truncated when parsed for the DataSource page has been updated to also handle the case of mapping a list to a page.

SR-D20817 · Issue 499922

Async cache checking updated for interaction reload use

Resolved in Pega Version 8.4

A thread level data page using connect REST to get data from an external system with the "Reload once per interaction" checkbox ticked was being loaded asynchronously from the activity when by default the data page it was supplying needed to be loaded synchronously. Due to this, changes to the data in the external database were not reflected in the data page. This was caused when an async cache was referred and the freshness check for the data page instance did not consider the 'reload once per interaction' flag because it would cause the data page to load twice. The cache checking has been updated to resolve this.

SR-113597 · Issue 163512

Fixed ability to use 'disable work processing' in the dashboard

Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.7

Setting 'disable work processing' to true caused an NPE when opening a modal window via a Local action from dashboard (assign page class). This was caused by the process attempting to assign properties from a null page, and has been corrected.
