Discard functionality in dirty check confirm corrected
Resolved in Pega Version 8.6
Clicking on the Discard functionality in the dirty check confirm on popup closed the item rather than launching the expected work flow. This was traced to gDirtyOverride being returned as false instead of null in the explorerFormIsDirty function. To resolve this, the logic used to for gDirtyOverride on a native alert close for dirty handling has been removed.

Discard button works consistently
Resolved in Pega Version 8.7.2
After check out, the discard button was not working consistently for decision tables or MapValue. Investigation showed this occurred when an exported file was being downloaded in the same window, as the thread would be busy with the file and not able to perform the discard action on the window. To resolve this, the configuration for the download on the same window has been removed, exportToDecisionTable has been modified to handle an iframe, and a runScript action has been added to register the exportToExcel activity and download in iframe.

Property Rule Form refreshes after discarding changes

After updating from Pega 8.2 to Pega 8.6 and migrating the properties, modifying any property rule and then discarding the change did not refresh the Property Rule Form. Investigation showed that the LOG-SYSTEM-PROPERTYOPTIMIZATION instance created during property optimization was not getting deleted when a property was deleted. As this was not getting deleted, the property was shown as optimized when adding the property back, causing confusion. This has been resolved by cleaning up the LOG-SYSTEM-PROPERTYOPTIMIZATION instance when the property is deleted and there is an optimization entry.

While configuring a decision tree, using the 'Function Allowed' dropdown resulted in the activity Rules-Alias-Function ListAliases throwing the error "Attempting to access a rule with a bad defined-on class: Trying to open rule "COMPARETWOVALUES" of class Rule-Alias-Function, but no defined-on class (pyClassName) was specified" while trying to remove the duplicates. After this error, both the original and the duplicate were removed instead of just the duplicates and an incomplete list was created. This was traced to an issue with the propagation of the pyClassName property to the OpenRuleAdvanced control in the pzAllowedFunctions section as part of passing "OtherKeyValuePairs", and has been resolved by passing the parameter values in the same control using a custom query.

AddMessage function shows error on UI

After updating from Pega 8.1 to 8.6, an addmessage function which previously displayed an edit validate rule error message was not working. This was an issue with textinput inside a grid, and has been resolved by adding a style to input text when it has a symbol left aligned and giving the error icon a z-index to show the message when the symbol is configured.

The @ sum function was not behaving correctly. This was traced to the java code in the 'sum--(ClipboardPropertyCollection)' function which was not properly converting the double to Bigdecimal for some of the inputs like 500, 500, 600.11. This has been resolved by modifying the function to convert input properties to BigDecimal, add BigDecimal values, and return the result.
