SAML SSO redirects to correct URL when application and authentication aliases match

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.3

Whenever there was a match in the authentication service alias and the application alias, the application alias was replaced with empty after logoff instead of making the authentication service alias empty. For example, given an authentication service with the alias XYZ ("login with XYZ" alias option) and an application name XYZMyOps, the application alias was being changed from XYZMyOps to appMyOps after logoff. As a result, a blue screen error resulted when clicking on button "login with XYZ" again because it redirected to appMyOps, which didn't exist. This has been resolved by removing authservicealias and modifying AuthServiceAliasHelper.adjustPathIfAuthServiceAliasPresent() to change the method for calculating the pathinfo to string tokenizing

Setting updated to determine whether Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 portal can steal desktop focus

Resolved in Pega Version 7.3.1

When Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 users multitasked and submitted something in a Customer Service portal then changed desktop windows to another non-Pega application, when the Customer Service task was completed the portal would steal desktop focus from the other application. This focus logic is by design, but Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 is more aggressive with overtaking application focus than other browsers. To counter this, focusNextElement in pzpega_ui_doc_focus .js has been updated to honor the pyIsWindowStealFocusInIEAllowed 'when' rule value.

SR-D4304 · Issue 444436

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.2

Configuring an Authentication Service with signing certificates failed at runtime with a invalid date exception in non-English locales. This has been fixed by passing the locale object as parameter to SimpleDateFormat.

Helper text set for radio buttons in DX API

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.3

The api/v1/assignments/{ID}/actions/{actionID} Service Rest was not rendering the tooltip into DXAPI converted JSON for Radio Button Helper Text. This was traced to a missing Tooltip check in the API Rule-Utility-Function for radio buttons, and has been resolved.

Corrected section refresh when target section is not in DOM

Resolved in Pega Version 7.3.1
