Data Transform added to support Kafka custom serialization/deserialization

Previously in a Kafka DataSet it was possible to either serialize or deserialize messages as mapped objects to JSON, or to implement some other mechanism to achieve the expected results. An enhancement has now been added to the Pega platform functionality: DataTransformSerde will be available to be used as custom serialization/deserialization mechanism in Kafka DataSet.

Zero-size attachments now included in correspondence

When using the Send Correspondence functionality, an attachment of zero size would be ignored and not included because it did not have any pyAttachStream property. Because there may be a business need to preserve the attachment name and include it anyway, the system has been updated to include and transmit a zero length attachment.

Localization added to reassign statement in Audit -> History

The Audit->History reassign statement "This assignment has been reassigned to Operator ?, as ? is unavailable" was not localized due to the string being hardcoded without using field values. Localization has been added through the newly created field value ROUTINGREASSIGNEDTOSUBSTITUE to be used in the checkForSubstitute function.

Fixed work object submitting with incorrect hidden datetime

When a date field was configured with a validation to check if the date is in the future, the work object was getting submitted even if the validation failed and error messages existed on the clipboard. This was a missed use case in the resetDateTimeHidden function which clears the value from a hidden field if there is an error in the field, and has been fixed.

Rollback information collection optimization

During rollback information collection, a rule inventory is regenerated. This checking can include searching for instances that no longer exist in the database, potentially causing performance issues. In order to optimize the function and reduce unneeded logging, the rollback information collection process has been updated to reuse the rule inventory.

The logic for this has been modified to use a rule resolved report definition to correct the issue. In addition, the pzAddPropListForClass_TreeGrid function has been refactored in order to correctly support nested properties.

ProfileLink control updated to resolve opening issue
Resolved in Pega Version 8.3
The profile was not opening when the Operator Profile link was clicked. This was traced to certain functions having been moved to javascript files that were not included by default in the ProfileLink control. To correct this, the control has been modified to include the needed javascript files and the appropriate references have been updated to match.
