Discard functionality in dirty check confirm corrected
Resolved in Pega Version 8.6
Clicking on the Discard functionality in the dirty check confirm on popup closed the item rather than launching the expected work flow. This was traced to gDirtyOverride being returned as false instead of null in the explorerFormIsDirty function. To resolve this, the logic used to for gDirtyOverride on a native alert close for dirty handling has been removed.

Discard button works consistently
Resolved in Pega Version 8.7.2
After check out, the discard button was not working consistently for decision tables or MapValue. Investigation showed this occurred when an exported file was being downloaded in the same window, as the thread would be busy with the file and not able to perform the discard action on the window. To resolve this, the configuration for the download on the same window has been removed, exportToDecisionTable has been modified to handle an iframe, and a runScript action has been added to register the exportToExcel activity and download in iframe.

Resolved checkout conflicts with discarded rule edits
Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.8
After a private edit of a work flow rule in the tenant layer, discarding that rule and then trying to do another Private Edit on the same rule generated the error "Status: **Check out failed. A checked out version with the same keys already exists. Please check-in that record first. This was traced to an issue with the clipboard retaining the discarded rule, and has been corrected.

Corrected dismissal of discard/cancel modal popup
Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.8
The out-of-the-box discard and cancel modal pop up was not closing up on single click. This was caused by a redundant action from the pyNewCaseHeaderInner section that has now been removed.

Improved handling for discarded decision data rules
Resolved in Pega Version 7.3
When the decision data rule was discarded after choosing the 'custom form' from that data rule, the associated section was deleted and the decision data rule could not be checked in. The issue was due to the deletion of the base layout rule upon discard of the decision data rule. To prevent this, an additional when condition has been added in the activity 'cleanUp' to ensure that only the checked out version of the layout rule is deleted and not the base rule associated with the decision data rule.

Discard changes dialog now showing for local actions
Resolved in Pega Version 8.4
After having modified case data without saving and clicking on a menu entry (left menu, search, ...), the system shows a dialog box to ask the user to confirm it is ok to discard changes. However, this confirmation dialog did not work with local actions, leading users to lose their work without any warning nor any way to step back. This was traced to a difference in the dirty form check, which was not present when launching a local action from a case. An enhancement has now been added to the handleMenuAction js function in pypega_ui_harnessactions.js which will perform a dirty form check with a prompt.
