Organization data instances

Updated on August 10, 2022

Complete an organization data instance for each organization that uses your system. Use the Organization form to specify an access group available to all members of an organization, a calendar of work days and holidays, a top-level class, and other aspects of the organization.

The following tabs are available on this form:

A three-level organization hierarchy is supported that consists of organizations at the top level, divisions at the second level, and organization units at the third level. Each user (operator ID instance) is associated with an organization, division, and unit.

  • Organizations – Completing the Create or Save As form

Create a new organization data instance by selecting Organization from the Organization category.

  • Organization form – Definition tab

Optionally, you can identify an access group to be available to users in this organization. As a user or other requestor belonging to this organization signs on, RuleSets and versions in the application rules of that access group are added to the user's RuleSet list.

  • Organization form – Chart tab

You can interact with the organization chart presented on this tab to maintain divisions, maintain organization units, and add operators.

  • More about Organization data instances

The system offers an organization structure that has three levels. The top level, defined by this form, is the organization; the middle level defines divisions, and the lowest level is organization units.

  • Organization landing page

Access the Organization landing page by clicking Configure Org & Security Organization .
