Missing columns in Explore Data

Updated on October 29, 2021

In specific scenarios, the Explore Data functionality may not include all columns with your data.

Cause: Properties not optimized

Issues with columns in the Explore Data functionality might be caused by the lack of optimization of properties.

Solution: Optimizing certain properties

If the specific column is not present in the Show/hide columns list, optimize the backing property that the column uses for reporting.

Note: The property requires optimization in the parent classes, and in the specific class that you view in Explore Data.

For more information, see Optimizing properties from the user interface.

Cause: Properties not marked as relevant records

If the specific column is not visible in the Explore data, the corresponding property may not be marked as a relevant record.

Solution: Marking properties as relevant records

  1. In the navigation pane of Dev Studio, click RecordsData ModelProperty.
  2. In the list of properties, select the property that you want to edit.
  3. In the upper-right corner of the rule form, click ActionsMark as relevant record.
  4. In the upper-right corner of the rule form, click Save.
