Resiliency and backup services

This content applies only to Pega Cloud environments

Pega Cloud® backup and resiliency services include:

  • Availability across multiple zones within an AWS geographical region to protect against zone faults and localized service disruptions. For details, see Pega Cloud Services capabilities.
  • Database Replication service that deploys a real-time database mirror in a different availability zone. Failover is automatic, with a recovery point objective (RPO) of less than 1 minute and a Recovery Time Objective (RTO) of less than 4 minutes.
  • Data Backup service backs up customer data on an ongoing basis (back 30 days) with a recovery point objective (RPO) of less than 10 minutes. Database backup recovery time objective (RTO) varies with the size of the system deployed.
