Extending the security auditing feature to record changes to additional properties

Updated on June 30, 2021

Pega Platform auditing can be extended to other properties such as a Page List and a Single Value property.

Pega Platform provides security auditing features that automatically generate history memos that track field-level updates to rules and data instances. (See Auditing field-level changes to security rule and data instances.) This functionality can be applied to any rule in the system, and is not limited to security-related rules.

The audit function is preconfigured to track the fields of most interest in typical applications. However, you can add new fields, such as a new aggregate property (a Page List) and a Single Value property.
