Opening the appropriate model to review the default properties
The Pega-RULES ruleset contains four models (Rule-Obj-Model) named pyTrackSecurityChanges that allow you to quickly set up audit functionality for security-related records.
The four security-related records are:
- Operators (Data-Admin-Operator-ID)
- Access Groups (Data-Admin-Operator-AccessGroup)
- Access of Roles to Objects (Rule-Access-Role-Obj)
- Applications (Rule-Application)
Each model contains a default list of properties that are tracked. For example, to see the default properties that are tracked in an access group, select Data-Admin-Operator-AccessGroup .pyTrackSecurityChanges.
The default properties are listed in the left column; their alias values (the names that appear in the memos and reports) on the right. Note that all complex property types such as Value List and Page List must have an index subscript value, as all the items in the property list are tracked. The value of 1 is used by default.
You can use the models in the Pega-RULES ruleset if you want to track the standard properties. If you want to add or remove fields from the model lists, copy the rule to your application RuleSet.
