Back Forward Reports category

Rule types and data classes are organized into categories as a learning and navigation aid.

Rule types in the Reports category define reports that support the Monitor Activity workspace, the Explorer tools, and other facilities. This category includes three rule types:

Reports produced from list view rules and summary view rules are known as V5 reports.

Any developer can create and maintain rules of these rule types. In addition, managers who create V5 reports using the V5 Report Wizard or who interact with the Report Viewer also indirectly create report rules.

On the Application Explorer and Rules Explorer displays, theReports category icon identifies the Reports category.
