Back Forward Correspondence Output Server

An optional helper application, the Correspondence Output Server (COS) supports printing of formatted messages produced through correspondence, such as letters, forms, receipts, statements, and advices.

The COS (also known as PegaDISTRIBUTION Manager) converts correspondence into an attractive formatted print image using Microsoft Word. It then sends the result to a hard copy printer.

The COS operates on Microsoft Windows systems only. If your Process Commander rules engine is hosted on UNIX-based hardware (from Sun Microsystems, IBM, or other vendors), a separate low-cost Windows-based system is needed to host the COS.

For installation and operation of the COS, consult the PegaDISTRIBUTION Manager Installation and Configuration guide.
