Back Forward Originator

Often, one of the work parties participating in a work object is designated as the originator. This may be a customer, an employee, a vendor representative, or another party. The originator party is the party who directly caused the work object to exist.

For example, a work object for a customer complaint may contains party roles for:

and so on. In this example, it is likely that the customer himself or herself is the originator party.
