Back Forward platform

The platform or platforms that host your Process Commander system are identified by a combination of supporting software:

Because Process Commander is based on industry standards — application servers, Java, SQL databases, XML, and HTML — it can operate in a wide range of vendor hardware and software platforms. This can allow your organization to mix-and-match your preferred choices of hardware vendor, operating system, database vendor, and other components.

While major aspects of Process Commander are platform-independent, many details differ because of platform limitations and feature differences. Pegasystems Inc. continually tests, recommends, and supports specific platform combinations. Consult the Platform Support Guide, available on the Pega Developer Network, for the latest information.

To learn which operating system and application server platform supports the Process Commander node you use, select Help > About Process Commander and click the SysInfo button.
