Back Forward Refactoring

To refactor a rule means to change the Applies To key part, or the RuleSet name and version, or both.

You can refactor rules in a ZIP archive using the Refactor on Import wizard. Select> System > Tools > Refactor Rules > Refactor on Import to start the wizard. BYRNB 3/3/10

You can refactor rules with a specific Applies To class from one RuleSet into another RuleSet or another Applies To class with the Refactor Rules tool. From the Application Explorer, right-click the class that contains the rules. Select Refactor from the context menu.

You can refactor entire RuleSets or RuleSet versions through the RuleSet Maintenance wizard. Select > System >Tools > Refactor RuleSets > Copy/Move/Merge RuleSet to start the wizard. 5.5 sp2
