Application Requirement rules are part of the suite of application development tools used in the Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO). Requirements categorize and describe project and processing requirements for an application and the units of work within an application.

Typically, requirements are specified in the Application Profile, created by the Application Accelerator and are available to link to an application, use case or flow rules as a project evolves.

Where Referenced

Application requirement rules are referenced in the following places:

• Application rules, on the Requirements tab, reference the requirements associated with and linked to the application.
• Flow rules, on the Requirements tab, list the requirements linked to the flow.
• Use Case rules, on the Requirements tab, list the requirements linked to the use case.

Access

Use the Rules Explorer to list all application requirement rules available to you.

Development

To add new instances of a requirement, the application rule must exist.

Category

Application Requirement rules are part of the Application Definition category. An Application Requirement rule is an instance of the Rule-Application-Requirement class.
