The Traditional Portal elements apply only to pre-defined user portals using HTML rules (non-composite).
Workspace
Apply fonts, colors, and heights to elements comprising the workspace on the right side of the portal.
Navigation
Apply colors, fonts, and heights to elements comprising the navigation panel on the left side of the portal.
Title Bar
Apply fonts, colors, logo, and height to the portal title bar.
The logo is defined by a GIF, PNG, or JPG image 46 pixels high and of
any width. Upload the image into a binary file rule that belongs to a
RuleSet version available to the portal users. Reference the binary file
rule in the logo field, in the format AAAAA/BBB.CCC, where AAA, BBB, and
CCC are the three key parts of the image (relative path, file name, and
extension). Optionally, you can create a rollover version of the image,
using the same file name with the suffix _on, and save that
in a binary file rule.
Horizontal Divider
Create horizontal lines for use in user portals and navigation gadgets. In preview mode, the horizontal dividers display around the Search for Work field in the Work Form section on the navigation panel.
Click Preview to open the preview window, and then click Preview Traditional Portal to view a rendering on a traditional Pega portal.
Click Next>> to advance to Custom, Step 5.
Click <<Back to return to the previous step.
Click Save to save your updates to the skin rule.
Click Cancel to discard your updates and exit the wizard.
Click Finish to save your updates and exit
the wizard. This action opens a panel containing an array of rules
comprising the skin and its associated portal and text rules. Click the
edit button (
) to open a rule. From this form click
Reopen Skin to return to the first step, or
click Cancel to exit the wizard.
