Form Builder tool — Basics

04-01 C-542 C-575 The Form Builder helps you construct standard form-based interfaces similar to those for standard rules and data objects in Process Commander. The Form Builder provides all the standard layouts for the forms, and gives a common look-and-feel to the application.

To start the Form Builder tool:

1. Open a Form rule (Rule-File-Form rule type).
2. Access the Main tab.
3. Click  Form Builder  .

Use the Form Builder tool to create an HTML form supporting a rule or data class. The result is stored in a Form rule instance. The HTML form can be moved to another Process Commander system or exported into the Web server directory that contains static HTML files.

Before building a form, design the form on paper and create the properties that correspond to each field that is desired.
