Symptom

An assignment contains the message:

Email not sent due to lack of SMTP host information.

Analysis

Processing in a flow execution has attempted to send an email. The system was unable to connect to an email server and (by default) the standard flow Work-.FlowProblems starts as an additional flow execution on the same work object.

This assignment is from the FlowProblems flow execution. Use the Flow Errors gadget on the Processes Landing page to address flow errors.

Action.

If sending email from this system is not desired, update the Data-Agent-Queue instance named Pega-ProCom to disable such correspondence. This change takes effect the next time the Pega-ProCom agent starts.

If sending email from this system is desired, confirm that your system contains a Data-EmailAccount data instance named Default. Review the Outgoing tab information to confirm the email account details, and correct as necessary.
