Designer Studio — Using the Application menu

Click the current application name (on the left end of the header) to access the Application menu, which contains these options.

Menu item	Description
`Open Overview`	Open the Application Overview landing page. Displays an executive summary of important information for the current application, and allows you to edit business objectives, actors, assumptions, specifications, and so on.
`Open Application`	Open the current application's Application rule.
`Open Application Skin`	Open the current application's Skin rule.
`New Application`	Starts Application Express, which generates an enterprise-level application based on your inputs. The tool generates a set of rules (including classes and RuleSets) for the new implementation, or framework extension. See About Application Express.
`Switch Application`	Select an application to become your current application from those listed in your access group. The scope of the Application Explorer and many other features of the Designer Studio change when you change the current application.
`Switch Work Pool`	Select a work pool to move from your current work pool to another pool listed in the Work Pools list on your access group. See Access Group - Completing the Advanced tab.
