Designer Studio — Setting your preferences |
Use the Preferences pop-up dialog to review or modify settings that affect how PRPC responds to input or displays information during your design sessions.
To open the dialog, select Preferences from the Operator menu, which is your own full name displayed in the Designer Studio header.
To restore all preference settings to the original values that apply to new operators, click Apply Default Preferences and click Save.
The dialog contains the following groups of preferences.

If the skin is circumstanced, it will be applied during runtime if the circumstance condition is true.
Auto checkout on save as — Select to automatically check out a new rule you create with the Save As toolbar operation. (Check out occurs only when both the RuleSet containing the new rule and your own Operator ID are enabled for checkout.)

PMF User ID |
This ID is used to reconcile different IDs between the application and the framework to ensure that project work appears on your Project Worklist and your development updates are tracked in the framework. Enter your user ID in the Project Management Framework if that user ID is different than your ID in the application. Otherwise, leave it blank to default and use your application user ID. For more information about enabling PMF, see the PDN publication Project Management Framework User Guide. |
To hide the tab bar in the Designer Studio work area, clear the Include Tabs checkbox, click Save, and log off and back onto PRPC. Only one item appears in the work area at a time. When you open an item , it is displayed in the work area and appears as the most recent item at the top of the Recent Explorer. To navigate among the items, use the Explorer or click the Recent icon on the Designer Studio header. When you close an item (using the Close button), the next most current item in the Explorer appears in the work area.
