Back Forward PegaIMAGE Manager

PegaIMAGE Manager® (PIM) is an optional supporting product available from Pegasystems that provides robust image retrieval and distribution services to a PRPC workflow. PegaIMAGE Manager is a high-performance, distributed, enterprise-wide image management system, written in Java and operating as a Web application within a Java-EE-compliant server. It can also act as a proxy and caching server to provide access to third-party digital image repositories and image archives.

The PegaIMAGE Manager can retrieve an image (such as a TIFF file representing a fax or a scanned letter or receipt) from an external archive display it on a workflow form and incorporate it within correspondence for display or distribution using the PegaDISTRIBUTION Manager.

PRPC communicates with PegaIMAGE Manager using a SOAP connector.
