Throughput

Throughput is a measure of work accomplished or completed during a calendar interval.

For example, if the period is a week and the unit of work is an assignment, throughput reporting can highlight how many assignments were:

• Open at the beginning of the week
• Created during the week
• Completed during the week
• Remained open (incomplete) at the end of the week

In the Monitor Activity workspace, throughput reports and graphs measure assignments completed per hour.
