Use the Implementation tab to get a comprehensive view of the relationship between a specification and the rules in the system that implement it. Each associated item, or implementation, displays as a row in the table. Activities, Flows and Flow components (shapes and steps) may all be linked to a specification.

The following buttons are available on this tab:

Field

Description

Edit Links

Click to launch a modal that displays all Activities linked to this specification.

You can add new links by adding a new row to the grid and specifying an Applies To class and Implementation Activity name.

Delete existing links by removing rows from the grid.

Only activities with the Allow direct invocation from the client or a service checkbox enabled may be linked to a specification. This is available on the Security tab of an activity form.

Delete All Links

Click to delete all links for this specification.

Use this button with caution; it removes all displayed links — to both flows and activities — from the specification. While you can easily add links to activities directly from this tab on the Specification form, you must add links to flows and their components using the Flow rule form.
