About the Create Properties wizard

Use the Create Properties wizard to create one or more properties with a common Applies To class by completing a single form. When you need to create several properties, using the wizard is faster than completing the Property form for each property.

Starting the wizard

To start the Create Properties wizard:

1. From the Application Explorer display, expand the tree structure until the work type that you want to use as the Applies To key part for the new properties is visible.
2. Select an existing category, rule type, or rule within the Applies To class.
3. Right-click to access the context menu.
4. Select Create Properties from the context menu.
