Restoring the earlier state of a rule
During application development, you can undo recent changes to a rule and replace the current rule with a previous copy (with the same ruleset and version), using the Restoretoolbar button. You can roll back to a previous copy even if another developer created the newer copies.
- Open the current version of the rule.
- Click the History tab.
- Click the View full history button to view a list of snapshots in a new window.
- Details display that contains the state you want. Click to open the older, historical state of this rule instance. (The padlock image indicates that this is not the current rule — not that the rule is checked out to you.)
- When you find the one you want to make current, click the Restore button.
