Complete the Authentication Profile tab to load the certificate file into the data instance.
- Authentication Scheme - Select an option:
- Basic to pass HTTP Basic authentication credentials or
- NTLM to supply NT LAN Manager credentials.
- OAuth to pass an authentication profile
- User Name - Enter a valid user name for the scheme. This field also supports the Global Resource Settings syntax (
=.PageName.PropertyName
). The default property for this field is pyUserID.
- Set Password - Click to enter a password that is valid for the user name you provided. This field also supports the Global Resource Settings syntax (
=.PageName.PropertyName
). The default property for this field is pyPassword.
- OAuth Client - If you are using OAuth, select an OAuth Client from the options provided.
- Domain - If you are using NTLM, enter the domain of the user account specified in the User Name field.
- Realm - If you are using Basic, enter the Realm of the user account on the server to which you are connecting.
- Host Name - If you are using Basic or NTLM, enter the host name of the server to which the request is being sent.
- Preemptive Authentication - Check this check box to have the system send the basic authentication response even before the server gives an unauthorized response, thus reducing the overhead of making the connection.
