Contacts add row

SmartPromptOptional. Identify one or more Operator IDs associated in some way with this workbasket. This array does not convey any capabilities to the operators.

In a flow (or elsewhere), your application can call one of these standard notify activities to use information in this array:

  • Work-NotifyAssignee  — Send a notification email to the first contact.
  • Work-.NotifyAllAssignees — Send a notification email to all contacts.

Typically, the email message indicates that the workbasket contains a new assignment.

Beyond the two activities, contact information can be useful as guidance to application developers.

Roles add row

SmartPromptOptional. Enter a role name (Rule-Access-Role-Name). When this array is not blank, only users who possess at least one of the roles listed may retrieve (dequeue) an assignment from this workbasket.

The Contacts array provides developers with information that can be useful — when first creating flows for an application — for removing assignments from this workbasket and transferring them one-by-one to an appropriate user's worklist.
