Catalina

A software component of Tomcat, Catalina implements a servlet container. If your PRPC system is supported by Tomcat, Catalina supports execution of the PRServlet servlet and other servlets.

PRServlet is no longer required in PRPC URLs as of V7.1.6.

An HTTP request to Catalina has four elements. For example, in this case:

http://bigbertha:8080/prweb/PRServlet

• bigbertha is the host
• 8080 is the service (TCP/IP port number)
• prweb is the context
• PRServlet is the Web resource, a servlet
