Management beans or JMX Management Beans are the objects in a Java EE technology that allows applications to expose operational facilities in accord with the Java Community Process standard JCP-160. This standard is informally known as Java Management eXtensions or JMX.
In PRPC 5.2, the System Management application uses management beans to obtain status information and instructions to and from the PRPC server software on each node.
Management beans are sometimes called MBeans. Don't confuse MBeans with MDBs (message-driven beans), a separate facility.
