A class is pinned when you add it to the static Pinned Classes section of the Application Explorer. Using pinned classes allows you to access objects across inheritance hierarchies without having to explicitly switch context. Pinned classes are stored by access group for your operator ID; they persist between sessions until explicitly unpinned.
