A step in a stage represents a task or process that helps move a case toward resolution.
You can use and customize the following step types in your application:
Single step assignment — Contains one assignment, a start shape, and an end shape.
Use this step to capture information from the user in a single form.
All steps are set to this type by default.
Multi step process — Contains two assignments, a start shape, and an end shape.
Use this step when there is more than one form for the user to complete.
Case — Contains one utility shape configured for case creation, a start shape, and an end shape.
Use this step to create one or more cases.
Approval — Contains a subprocess configured for approval, a start shape, and an end shape.
Use this step to prompt a manager to approve or reject the case.
Attachment — Contains a subprocess configured for attachments, a start shape, and an end shape.
Use this step to prompt the user for a file attachment before submitting the form.
