Use Application Tools to access Direct Capture of Objectives tools, wizard items, and accessibility reports. The following tools are available when you select the Designer Studio > Application > Tools menu item:
| Document |
Starts the Document Application tool that specifies and generates application and project documentation. |
| Sizing |
Starts the Sizing wizard that enables you to create, edit, and attach an Excel spreadsheet of application information helping you estimate the duration and size of implementation projects. The wizard creates sizing work items that are identified by application, implementation method, and spreadsheet. You can reuse or modify these items for your current or built-on applications. |
| All Wizards |
Presents a list of the open and resolved wizard objects in this system, including component, localization, or any other wizard that saves an object to the database. You can select from the list to review resolved objects or to edit, complete, or cancel open objects. Some wizards create only temporary work items. These objects do not appear in this list. |
| Accessibility Report |
Opens the Accessibility Report. See Using the Accessibility report. |
| Check DCO Compatibility |
Starts the DCO Compatibility tool to verify that your application will work with DCO when you build or extend your application. See About the DCO Compatibility tool. |
| Validation |
Starts the Validation tool to ensure that all rules defined in an application are valid and contain valid rule references based on a specified application context. This tool can help you improve the quality of your application and should be used regularly. See About the Validation tool. |
