When you build a hybrid application, you can use a feature of the Pega Mobile Client to extend the functionality of Pega 7 Platform mobile apps with custom modules. Custom modules are developed in the target platform's programming language and expose their functionality through the JavaScript API to enable features and functions that are available to native applications in Pega 7 Platform mobile apps.
