If you do not specify parameters, your adaptive model can only learn from properties in the strategy's primary page. Adaptive model parameters allow you to add parametrized predictors. These parameters can be used in the model configuration. You can map these parameters to properties through the adaptive model component in a strategy.

ClosedAdding a parametrized predictor

This option is available when you have a valid license to use predictors in adaptive models. Check if the Entitled to use predictors in adaptive models option is selected in the Services landing page.

  1. Open an instance of the Adaptive Model rule and click the Parameters tab.
  2. Click Add parameter.
  3. Enter a name and description for the new parameter.
  4. Select a data type for the parameter and click Save.
  5. Optional: Click the Predictors tab to check all the parameters in the Parametrized predictors section.

Predictors added via the Parameters tab are automatically added to the read-only view of the Parametrized predictors section in the Predictors tab. You can only change the predictor's type.
