Harness and section forms — Adding a Freeform layout

Note: Dynamic layouts that use HTML5 replaced freeform layouts for new development.

Freeform layouts are manually aligned rows and columns. They are not styled in the skin and can be difficult to align across sections. Use of freeform layouts is not recommended.

For applications rendered in HTML 5 document type (standards mode), use to dynamic layouts. For other applications, use smart layouts.
