Section, Harness, and Flow Action forms - Adding an Icon control

The Icon/Image control (pxIcon) adds images to screens which can also function as a button, launching actions.

Starting with release 7.1, the correct control is pxIcon ('icon').

Icon/Image control configuration includes:

Selecting an icon (a Pega standard icon, any image file in the system, an external URL, a property, or a CSS class)
Configuring associated actions (for example, clicking/tapping)
Configuring conditions for disabling or enabling the icon (if used as a button)
Configuring tool-tip settings

A number of standard icons is available in the configuration panel (see Standard icons for a complete list). Standard icons eliminate the need to manually set up many custom icons.

Note: The UI Gallery contains a working sample where you can view and test all pre-configured Icon/Image controls. To explore the sample, select Designer Studio > User Interface > UI Gallery. In the Components area, select Icon.
