The Run interaction shape references an Interaction that runs on another page available through Pages & Classes or on the current work item. The shape's operation is driven by the way the interaction rule is configured to run the strategy.
In the process of designing the process flow, you typically use two interaction rules:
One interaction to issue the decision. The interaction that you reference in the Run Interaction shape is configured to write results to the clipboard.
One interaction to capture the interaction results. The interaction that you reference in the Run Interaction shape is configured to write results to Interaction History.
Double-click the Run Interaction shape.
Complete the fields in the property panel as described in the following table.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Define interaction | Typically, the assets that define the process of issuing a decision or capturing the results are in the customer data classes, not the work classes. To run these interactions, add the class to the flow's pages and classes, and select On Another Page. If you select this option, define the Page Property and Class fields. In the rare cases where strategies and interactions are in the work class, select On Current Work Item. |
Page Property | The page name as defined in the flow's pages and classes. |
Class | The class of the selected page property. |
Rule | Required. The interaction the flow executes when reaching the step defined by this shape. |
Audit note | The name of the Rule-Message instance that determines the information captured in the work item's history. |
