Complete this tab to identify and configure the spaces in a composite portal. Each space has a name and is defined by a harness.
Define at least one space. Identify one space as the default — it appears when the portal first appears.
Order in this array is significant; at runtime, tabs appear in the order the spaces are listed here.
This tab is visible only when the Type (on the Skins tab) is Composite
.

Space Name |
Enter a short text name for this space, which may appear as a tab label. Ensure that each space has a distinct name. A space with the name Work is required. |
Harness Class |
Select the Applies To key part of a harness that defines the layout and contents of this space. By convention, the Data-Portal class is often used as the Applies To class of such rules. |
Harness Name |
Select the Purpose key part of the harness that defines the layout and contents of this space. |
Default |
Select to mark this space as the default. |
Note: Within a custom JavaScript, you can call the API function pega.desktop.getCurrentSpaceName() to retrieve the name of the currently displayed space. (This value does not appear on the clipboard.)
