Use the Parameters tab for informational purposes to document the name, description, and data type of parameters used in the extract.

You can use parameters within the extract rule:

On the Filter Criteria tab to help establish data filters. Use the parameter on the right side of the filter condition. For example, pxThatThing > param.ThisThing

The following table details how to use the fields listed in the Parameters tab.

Field	Description
Name	Specify the name of the parameter.
Description	Specify the description of the parameter.
Data Type	Specify the data type of the parameter. Select string, Boolean, or integer.
Default Value	Optional. Specify a default value for the parameter.
