You can use the Assignment Service shape to send a request from a flow to a service. By integrating external applications with your process, you can add more functionality to your application.
Double-click the Assignment Service shape to open the property panel.
Enter values in the fields of the property panel, based on the functionality that your flow requires.

Click Submit to close the property panel.
Click Save.
At run time, your flow pauses when it reaches the Assignment Service shape, and resumes when it receives an incoming service request of the expected type.
You can test the Assignment Service shape by connecting it to other shapes and running your flow.
