Frequently used standard rules

Hundreds of built-in standard properties, activities, classes, and other rules are useful to know about as you build your application. Many can be used without change as building blocks, speeding your development. Often, you can override a standard rule to implement your requirements, or copy it to a new rule name as a starting point. Some standard rules demonstrate capabilities as working examples.

By definition, you cannot update a standard rule. In contrast, you can update data instances initially installed with your system. For a description of selected data instances, see Initial data instances.
