Removing a stage

Remove a stage when it is no longer relevant to the life cycle of your case type.

Note: Use the Records Explorer or Find Rules wizard to find and manually delete stage-related rules, because removing a stage does not delete the underlying rules that support it.
  1. In the Explorer panel, click Case types, and then click the case type that you want to open.
  2. If you are removing an alternate stage, click Configure alternate stages in the Actions menu.
    Alternate stages are displayed below your primary stages.
  3. On the Workflow tab, click Life cycle.
  4. Hover over the stage name.
  5. Click the Menu icon and then click Delete stage.
  6. Click Save.
