Overriding the Create view of a case type

You can configure a case type to skip the Create view when you create a case. By overriding the Create view, you can speed up or simplify case creation.

1. In the Explorer panel, click Case types, and then click the case type that you want to open.
2. On the Settings tab, click General.
3. In the Behavior section, select the Skip 'Create' view when users create a new case check box.
4. Click Done.

The next time that you create an instance of the case type, the case skips the Create form and moves directly to the first stage in the case life cycle.
