Managing built text analytics models
You can test, update, or delete any completed sentiment or text classification model. You can also add a language to the model or save the model as a different rule instance. Through a wide range of the available types of actions, a data analyst can quickly and conveniently manage multiple models to accommodate them to ever-changing business requirements.
- In Designer Studio, click Launch > Analytics Center.
- Click the Models panel.
- Locate the model that you want to manage.
- Click the More icon.

Add language
A single sentiment or text classification Decision Data rule can store multiple models, one model for each available language. For example, you can add models for new languages when you extend your product offer abroad. Depending on the type of the existing model and the type of model that you want to add, you can use one of the following processes:
- Creating sentiment analysis models (machine learning)
- Creating text classification models (machine learning)
- Creating text classification taxonomy rules (rule-based)
-
Update
You can overwrite an existing model with a new version. For example, you can update the model when the current version does not address new business requirements. Depending on the model that you want to update, one of the following model creation processes is triggered:
- Creating sentiment analysis models (machine learning)
- Creating text classification models (machine learning)
- Creating text classification taxonomy rules (rule-based)
-
Save as
You can save this model as a different instance of the Decision Data rule.
-
Delete
You can permanently remove obsolete models from the Analytics Center work area and Designer Studio. If a model was first removed from Designer Studio, you can permanently remove that model and all associated data from the Analytics Center work area by clearing the deleted models.
