Previewing an application on a mobile device

When developing a mobile app, you can use mobile preview to verify that your application will be displayed correctly on different types of devices. Mobile preview allows you to preview how your application will be displayed in a desktop browser, a tablet, or a phone.

1. Hover over one of the preview format icons. One of the masks displays to indicate the size of the preview.
   1. Click the laptop icon to preview the application as it will appear in a standard laptop computer.
   2. Click the tablet icon to preview the application as it will appear on a tablet.
   3. Click the phone icon to preview the application as it will appear on a phone.
2. Click a preview icon to resize the application preview.
3. Click the icon again to switch between landscape and portrait mode.

You can preview how your app will be displayed on a specific device by selecting the device from the configurable list of devices. If you have access to Designer Studio, you can edit the list of devices.

Device preview is not a substitute for testing your application and you should still test on a mobile device.
