Modifying the audit trail of a case
You can modify the audit trail of a case. By controlling which events are included in the case history, you can help stakeholders understand how a case was processed, and reduce the volume of history records in your system.
-
Add localized messages to the audit trail by using one of the following
techniques:
- Adding a step to the life cycle of a case that provides a field value in the Audit note field.
-
Configuring a Utility shape in a flow that calls the standard Work-.AddHistory activity.
- Customize the standard Work-.FilterHistory decision tree in your application to control which steps in a process add information to the audit trail.
- Customize the standard Pega-ProCom.FilterHistory system setting in your application to control which systems add information to the audit trail.
- Optional: To control which cases include the case worker's geographic location, update the standard pyGeolocationTrackingIsEnabled when condition for each class of case type in your application.
