Disabling notifications for an assignment

You can disable notifications for an individual assignment. By overriding the notification policy that is defined by the case type, you can prioritize which assignments need greater visibility in your application. At run time, notifications are not sent when the assignment is transferred to a worklist or the service-level agreement expires, even if the case-type policy is configured to send assignment notifications.
  1. Open a flow that contains an assignment by searching for it or by using the Application Explorer.If you are already have case-type settings open, you can click a process in a stage of the life cycle, and then click Open process
  2. Double-click an assignment.
  3. In the Assignment properties dialog box, expand the Notifications section.
  4. In the Send notification list, select Never.
  5. Click Submit.
  6. Click Save.
